Health Solutions welcomes the launch of IPA Europe’s “Probiotic Value Insights” platform

Blagnac, June 30, 2026 – Lallemand Health Solutions welcomes the launch of Probiotic Value Insights, a new digital platform developed by IPA Europe to consolidate scientific evidence, socio-economic data, policy insights, and educational resources on probiotics.

This initiative marks an important step forward in broadening the understanding of probiotics, moving beyond individual product benefits to highlight their broader societal and economic value. The platform explores how probiotics can contribute to key public health priorities, including healthcare sustainability, health management, quality of life, and economic productivity.

At the core of the platform is a Socio-Economic Impact Assessment on probiotics in Europe, conducted using Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and European Union (EU) Better Regulation methodologies. The analysis indicates that even a modest 1% increase in probiotic use across key health areas could generate at least €10 billion annually in socio-economic benefits across Europe.

The platform also compiles evidence across multiple health domains, including:
